Disassembly
The car was pulled up next to the shop for disassembly.
The interior was pulled out, and the wiring harness removed.
All the various pieces are stored in totes and on the shelf for later work. Everything will end up being worked on, restored, or replaced. The running board that came off this car was rusted pretty good, and there isn’t much left. The mat was the only thing holding the shape.
It always has to get worse before it can get better, and it’s down to the bare bone, ready for clean out.
The rear shelf is solid, but has seen some moisture. The car will get cleaned up before being epoxy primered, sealed and ready for paint.
