1969 Plymouth Roadrunner – Cowl, Trunk, Rear Valance

The cowl had damage from a previous accident. There was a large dent with the louvers were bent and disfigured. There is also a dent in the passenger side A-pillar that will be cut out and replaced later

Everything was cleaned, a rust converter was sprayed, and the are was painted before the cap was set.

The edges were painted with weld through paint, masked, and the paint was sprayed.

The front inner panels were loose fit in place for now. The driver’s side front frame rail was ordered upon further inspection.

On to the trunk floor.

The floor was cut out, rails were cleaned.

The floor was marked from both side for rail alignment, the center brace and tire carrier bracket fit and welded.

There were some corners of things that needed to be replaced with some steel.

The rear edge, and wheel well patches

The rails were rust converter primed, weld-through edges painted, masked, and painted. The holes were stamped and drilled in the floor pan for the final install (Yeah, it was in and out of there a few time to fit)

Welded, ground, painted

The rear apron was fit for trunk height and alignment.

Rear apron welded, finished, and painted.
