1969 Plymouth Roadrunner

Complete basket case build

383ci, 4-spd, Hardtop

This was a project for a young guy that was cut short. There was an auto accident and we picked this up from the father.

There were pieces of the car scattered through out the barn, but most everything looks to be there.

The car after it was relocated and unloaded.

Now that I can get around the car, a closer inspection can be done.

Both rear quarters are shot, the driver’s door has had some work done to it, the corners of the rear window will need some work. An artist shaped the driver’s quarter with a few cans of Bondo apparently.

The whole thing was painted with POR15 inside and will need to be cleaned out to see what’s hiding under this thick crud. The car is another one that had a few coverup repair jobs done to get it going, but it will clean up and come back into shape nicely.

There is damage to the front of the hood, cowl, and passenger A-pillar. More thick POR15 on everything since it cures all rust with enough coats. lol. The radiator support is pretty thing and will need to be replaced. Someone started to remove spot welds on the inner panels.
