Previous Work – VW Late 1960’s (21 Cars)

I have sold a lot of cars over the years and most haven’t been restorations. I would get old cars work on them to get them mechanically sound, running, and driving then put them up for sale. Some were sold as parts or project cars as well. Like I said before I have had a couple computer’s crashes and lost a camera. Most of the work records before I incorporated the business in 2000 are gone, and I am missing some of the pictures for completion of a few too. Here’s what I have sold from 2000 to 2013.

1966 VW Beetle – White – Sales Date Not Recorded – Running / Driving.

1967 VW Beetle – Oct. 2020

This is a fairly rust-free body that has been hit in the front. The car would make for a nice project or a great donor for your early car! Heat channels are in great shape!

It will need some work to the front under dash panel and the tire carrier from the middle of the gas tank forward. I have a front clip that is sitting in the car as a replacement to be welded back on. The low back seats, rear seat, trim set, shifter, and pedals are all sitting in the back of the car. The car has pop-out quarter windows, and is mostly complete.

The car is sitting on a 1965 Karmann Ghia chassis that was drivable before it was separated to be put under this car. The transmission is a rebuilt 1967 long axle. The front and rear brakes have been gone through, master was replaced, shocks are in good shape, and I have a set of new Beetle pan halves and rear supports that go with for the conversion. The hard part is done and it’s ready to have the halves and rear supports welded.

There is a 1973 CA emission engine that does not make a full revolution turning by hand that is in the car as a builder core.

This car is being sold as a parts car or builder with the Ghia title.
