This is a great running and riding bike! There is plenty of tread on the tires, and it has after market aluminum mirrors, fairing, and exhaust.
The bike has been lowered with lowering links for smaller rider, but does come with the factory links if you want to put it back to stock. There are two bolts and it’s pretty easy to swap them out. There is still adjustment with the factory spring for fine tuning of the rear suspension.
For a little older bike, this thing has always fired up right away and ran great. We have another older Suzuki with 10k less that takes a little coaxing to get going every time, and this one always seems to amaze me with how well it runs!
This bike is not perfect, but still very presentable for its age. It does have some marks from being on the ground at some point, but it looks more like it was tipped over in the garage. It has very minor dents and nothing major. The seat is perfect and the bike has been stored inside by myself and the previous owner. Everything works and I have never had any issues with the bike.
This bike was named as Cycle World magazine’s Best Standard Motorcycle and Motorcyclist magazine’s Best Bang for the Buck in 2006. The Suzuki SV650, being a naked bike, offers its own unique styling and performance featuring a single round headlight, tubular handlebars and a more upright riding position. This is the first year for the SV650!
With one ride on the SV650 and you will definitely be hooked! It combines sharp, lightweight handling with an all-day riding comfort you will love. And the thrills really begin when you twist the throttle with its exceptional engine performance. It has a fuel-injected V-twin powerplant offers quick throttle response, strong torque and a wide powerband making this a great all-around bike.
