Currently undergoing upgrades, but awaiting another coat of paint, this vehicle received its last paint job back in 1987.

Equipped with impressive features such as a 2332cc engine, 48 IDA carburetors, and a race-built transmission from SHIT (Steve Humphrey Intermediate Transmissions), along with 930 CV & Axles and disk brakes on all four corners, this car is primed for peak performance. Notable additions include a convertible decklid with latch stand-off, 17″ Porsche Thrust wheels, LED lights, Briz Bumpers, and billet accessories throughout. Inside, it boasts a Sewfine Interior from 1997, complemented by Eclipse Leather Seats.

In addition to these enhancements, there are plans to incorporate a rag-top section, utilize 1958 doors with welded chrome holes, and install a set of early pop-outs. Although the vehicle underwent rust repair before its current ownership, there are a few areas that require further attention. While maintaining the original paint scheme, subtle updates to the colors are in the works. Additionally, the brushed aluminum accents will receive a thorough clean-up to achieve a more contemporary look.

In summary, this ongoing project promises to combine classic style with modern performance and aesthetics, resulting in a truly exceptional vehicle.

I found this 1962 Micro in a salvage yard for $500 with a title. I also picked up a 1962 15-Window walk-through, pictured below, for $500 while there, and the sale helped pay for the build of the Micro.

1915cc engine, equipped with 044 Heads and a 120 Cam, paired with a Weber 44 IDF carburetor, Berg Linkage, Sump, and Oil Cooler, ensures powerful performance. The transmission is a Rancho 1967 Type I Race Transmission, supported by Chromoly Axles and Drop Plates. A WagensWest Narrow Dropped Beam enhances handling, while ACC Deluxe Trim and EIS Safari Front & Rear windows add style.

The Bus features all-new side pop-outs (currently being painted), a 356 Porsche Headlight Grille with H4 LED & Tri-Bars, a Harp Mirror, ACC Racks Front & Rear (with wood restoration underway), ACC Grab handles, and an ACC cup holder. Full Bumpers (also undergoing painting) and Old School Mangle Chromies with Porsche nipple caps complete the exterior.

Inside, enjoy a full bench front, mid, and rear seating setup. While metal repairs are pending, the Bus runs and drives excellently. However, potential passengers are advised to ensure they are up-to-date on tetanus shots due to its vintage condition.

Notably, the rear wheel flairs were added in the 1980s before the Bus was acquired by the salvage yard.
